Now that they're all healthy (knock on wood), Lisa's back to report some van de Geyn household news
Peyps going for a stroll around the house
Well, cough, I'm back. Apologies for my wee absence; the croup (along with all those other disgusting bugs) went through the house and I'm happy to report that we're all on the mend and feeling better. Phew.
I'm also happy to report that I now have two kids who walk. Peyps finally did it — the kid got off her rear and finally started wobbling around the house. (Oh those thighs. Those juicy, chubby thighs.) We're all pretty excited; Addy is positive she taught her sister how to walk and it's so nice not watching Peyps struggle while trying to keep up with Addy. I'm obviously a little emotional about the whole thing — my baby can walk. Before I know it the kid is going to be wearing makeup and texting her little girlfriends about boys she likes. Oy. I figure the next big milestone (unless I'm missing something?) will be when she stops grunting and finds her little voice. (And if she's anything like her sis, she'll find it, use it and keep using it...all...day...long.)
So that's what's happening around here — fighting germs (*knocking on wood*) and another major milestone checked off the list.
