Lisa says: The evil croup is back

Lisa needs help. So what else is new?

Lisa says: The evil croup is back

Lisa hates germs. Especially croup

I'm going to make this short and sweet.

The croup is back. (And the photo to the left is exactly how I envision this evil, evil barking illness. My guess is it looks most like the germ with the mustache.) Poor Addy has been barking like a wee pup. If you haven't encountered croup yet, knock wood; it's the most horrid-sounding cough you can imagine. (Multiplied by five.)

It's no secret that I don't do well when the kids are sick. I turn into a mushy, sad mess when they have a fever, tummy ache, even a sneeze. Not only do I hate to see my babies not feeling well but when one of them gets sick it generally means that the rest of us will end up with it and Germ X will hang around our house for a good month or so. Last night this is what I tweeted: "I wish my kid would stop wiping her nose on me an my pjs." (It wouldn't be the holidays if one of us weren't ill.)

Anyway, I've been trying to do the hot steam/cold air treatment. I've also been begging, forcing that all-natural cough suppressant into her. Not fun. Anyone have any other tried-and-true treatments? I'm at the point where I'll try anything. I need to get her to stop coughing (in my face).
