Did you know that the HPV vaccine is now being recommended for boys?

According to an article on Parentcentral.ca, a statement issued this week by The National Advisory Committee on Immunization recommends that boys between the ages of nine and 26 receive the Gardasil vaccination. Up until now, Gardasil has been heavily promoted toward girls and young women to protect against various forms of the human papillomavirus.

Experts say this vaccine will help protect males against some forms of cancer and pre-cancerous lesions and genital warts, among other conditions. Click here to find out more.
