Everyday Baby - March 2013

It's "Roll Up the Rim to Win" time at Tim Hortons! I thought he might bring me some luck by letting him try and roll up the rim but, alas, there were no prizes under my rim.

Will was cuddling with Daddy on the sofa. Wes saw and climbed right up and laid his head on Daddy's chest, just like Will. It was the sweetest thing ever, and I almost lost it when I saw Wes put his hand on Will's. I love these three boys so much!

Wes has been on antibiotics for several days now. Poor baby had pneumonia and an ear infection. You would never know he was sick, though. He is such a little trooper. And he is a dream baby when it comes to taking his medicine, which is such a pleasant change from his big brother!

He's always begging to get in the bath. He's saying, "But please, Mommy" with those big, blue eyes!

I absolutely love when he holds my hand. I will miss the day he doesn't want to anymore.

Baby Wes was playing peekaboo with the doggie today. To see him hide his head and then pop it up was the absolute cutest!  

I put shoes on Baby Wes for the first time in the house today, and this is what he did! He can stand for a really long time without losing his balance, too! I was in shock and, once it wore off, I realized that I need to throw those shoes in the garbage ASAP! My friend suggested burying them in the snow because he hates the cold so much. He will never go out there to find them!

He's mastered the art of removing the flip top off his container of puffs. I just didn't catch him quite in time this morning.

Helping Grampy play the guitar is one of his most favourite activities. I definitely have a feeling he will be musical when he grows up!

"Oh wow! There's a baby in there!" He makes me laugh so much!

It's pretty special when we travel to Grampy's and get to see horses! He was mesmerized by them.

He was so determined to eat the banana that he chewed right through the peel!

He gets the biggest kick out of trying to feed me his food. I think I end up eating more of it than he does, sometimes!

It felt like spring today when we had the boys outside, and the warm sun that was shining in Will's room was heaven. We had a great time just hanging out in big brother's room playing with some vintage Fisher Price toys!

What a sweet little face I found peeking over the wall today. I just hope he isn't chewing on that wall!

Will got a new recorder at the dollar store today. Baby Wes tried his best to play!

Baby Wes is growing so much. He is starting to play by himself and spent the longest time today pushing this truck back and forth on the floor! Although Will always loved little cars and trucks, Baby Wes most definitely thinks bigger is better!

Here I thought he was being such a great boy today eating all of his cereal until I caught him tossing them to the dogs. No wonder they follow him around wherever he goes!

One of his favourite activities is removing everything from bags, and usually, my purse is his biggest target!  

It was all fun and games until someone started chewing on the cardboard bricks. He seriously cannot control that chewing habit of his!

 It's only a matter of time before he won't need to hold onto anything and will be walking on his own! Look at him go!

Baby Wes is obsessed with our heating vents. We've had to secure all of them to the floor, which we never had to do with Will! Imagine how thrilled he was when I found two extra ones in a drawer today and let him play with them. He is my boy who would rather play with anything other than toys!  

He loves showing off all eight of his teeth. Gosh, he is looking so grown up these days!

Those eyes get me every time. So hard to say "no" to this little guy, even when he is pleading to let him up on the bed. I know that he will just be a monkey and start jumping!

Baby Wes brushed his teeth by himself for the very first time today! He absolutely loved it. I can just see him and Will brushing together before bed now. He adores his big brother and tries to mimic everything he does.

I had a little helper in the kitchen with me today!

The boys were reading stories before bed, but it ended much too quickly when I caught Wes eating the pages!

I thought a puppet show with Wes was a cute idea; however, he wasn't very thrilled with the puppets at all! He was begging, "Stop taking a picture and get these things off my hands!" He panics when he isn't able to get those fingers in his mouth!

He already loves to play with dinosaurs! Why do the second babies grow up so much faster than the first? It must be from studying his big brother so much.

Will and Wes had their first neighbourhood Easter egg hunt this morning. It was a huge hit with all the kids. We love our community and look forward to many more years of neighbourhood fun!

Wes had a wonderful first Easter! He loved helping Will gather all the eggs this year.
