Despite getting sick, Baby Wes starts chewing anything he can get his hands — or his mouth — on this month.

I find it so hard to keep up with all the household tasks these days. The days just pass in the blink of an eye, and then I am so tired in the evenings. So, I usually get lots done on the days when it is just Baby Wes and I home, because he still usually has two good naps per day. Even though I did laugh and take a photo of my little "helper" today, I must admit there was a loud, "Nooooooo Baby Wes!" when I saw him reach for my pile of newly folded laundry.
Photo: Kerianne BrownWes climbed up on this little stool today and started using it as a walker. He walked all around Will's room this afternoon. It was the cutest thing!
Photo: Kerianne BrownHe loved hugging and chewing on his little stuff elephant so much that you can see him planning to try and get his hands on the other elephant on his dresser. I don't think his ceramic bank would be nearly as squishy or soft on the teeth, though.
Photo: Kerianne BrownPoor little Will is sick, so it was a sweet surprise to see him hug Wes out of the blue. I guess he needed a little cuddle from his baby brother.
Photo: Kerianne BrownI had to quickly put Wes in Will's crib today for a second when I was preoccupied with something. He thought it was so fun in there! I must keep this in mind if I need to contain him again. Of course, the novelty will most likely wear off the next time.
Photo: Kerianne BrownJust when they didn't know I was watching, Will reached for Wes' hand while they watched TV together. Poor Will is so sick, and he is really loving the attention Baby Wes is giving him. We haven't been able to get much of anything done lately. Our days pretty much revolve around cuddles and napping.
Photo: Kerianne BrownMaybe the hand-holding wasn't the best idea…poor Baby Wes is now sick. It was a full day of snuggles in Mama's bed. The good news is that Will is better, so I don't have two sick babies!
Photo: Kerianne BrownOne of my favourite things about Wes right now is that he stands by the tub and watches us fill it up with water. He doesn't move and is so excited with anticipation. He also inevitably cries when we eventually take him out every single time. He is my water baby!
Photo: Kerianne BrownThere was a huge snowstorm today, and I don't remember getting so much snow in several years. Baby Wes wanted so badly to go out and play in the snow, especially when he saw Daddy and Will out on the deck shovelling! If he weren't sick right now, I would have definitely bundled him up and let him have some fun.
Photo: Kerianne BrownThese two look like they are up to no good. Baby Wes looks like he is about to pinch Will, while the latter looks like he is scheming something naughty.
Photo: Kerianne BrownHe loves to play in the playroom when Will is at daycare. He plays with all the big boy toys he can, just like his older brother. I really think he actually misses him when he isn't here.
Photo: Kerianne BrownHe has developed this little habit of chewing on the ottoman every time he stands up at it. And now I see little pieces of thread come apart from the stitching. This little guy chews on things so much more than Will ever did!
Photo: Kerianne BrownThe poor baby has bronchitis so we spent a little time getting him used to his aerochamber. I can't say that he didn't resist it at first; however, now he is a pro and sits perfectly still each time. He even laughs and smiles behind his mask.
Photo: Kerianne BrownIt was Valentine's Day and I had the two cutest little boys take me to a party at daycare this afternoon. Here is Baby Wes wearing his red and looking proud of the painted heart on his cheek…drool and all. I had such a great day with my little loves.
Photo: Kerianne BrownHe loves playing amongst the pillows on my bed as much as Will does! And even though he isn't feeling the best, you can always be sure he will have a smile for you, if you even just glance his way!
Photo: Kerianne BrownWes is always happy waking up from his nap, although you can see how sick he is in those eyes of his. It's so hard on us parents when our babies aren't feeling well.
Photo: Kerianne BrownHe loves the new view he has looking out the window now that he can pull himself up. I bet he will really enjoy it once spring arrives and the birds return!
Photo: Kerianne BrownWill wanted me to put safety goggles on Wes while he was in his Exersaucer today. I had to agree with him watching the way he bats those toys around sometimes.
Photo: Kerianne BrownSomeone is getting some wavy curls in his hair! And one of my favourite things lately about Wes is when he is tired he rubs those little curls in the back until he falls asleep…sweetest thing ever!
Photo: Kerianne BrownJust a quiet moment this afternoon with Mama. He loves looking out the window so much!
Photo: Kerianne BrownI had left for only a minute to go to the kitchen and came back to this! Good thing I wasn't any longer. I have a feeling that diaper cream would have been smeared all through the rug!
Photo: Kerianne BrownMy little helper was assisting me in some vacuuming today. It took forever because he didn't want me pushing the hose around. He wanted to be the one holding it the whole time!
Photo: Kerianne BrownI thought it was so cute when I found him getting his secret stash of blocks out of Lightning McQueen. I had no idea he had put them in there earlier!
Photo: Kerianne BrownThis view cracked me up today. My little beaver has to gnaw on everything, and he even leaned over his stool just so he could reach the windowsill with his mouth. He is worse than a puppy!
Photo: Kerianne BrownI caught Baby Wes going through the cupboard today. He searched through everything until he found some baby food. I guess he was trying to tell me that he needed a snack!
Photo: Kerianne BrownHe loves his sippy cup. I'm not sure if it's because he feels like a big boy or whether it's because he is just thirsty, but either way, he will sit forever drinking out of it. I love how he gets big chipmunk cheeks!
Photo: Kerianne BrownHere is Wes in his little bear snowsuit, getting all ready so we can go and pick up Will from daycare. Will calls him "Baby Bear Wes" whenever he has it on. He is showing off his waving skills for the camera today!
Photo: Kerianne BrownThis baby cracks me up. You can be sure that this is the sight I see within minutes of Will sitting in his high chair to eat. He crawls up the high chair and peeks over the tray to see what Will is eating, then he tries and steals some of his food!
