Is it so wrong for women (in a relationship or not) to swoon over unattainable men? We don't think so. Here's a gallery of our favourite celebrity-dad heartthrobs. You may want to sit down for this!
Even before he became a pirate, I had the hots for Depp. My husband says if Johnny Depp were ever to ask me out on a date, it would be OK.
~Elana Schachter, General Manager, Todaysparent.com
Elana's runner-up: Javier Bardem — Because I can’t resist the sexy-ugly. Swoon!
Everyone knows Dave Grohl is my boyfriend.
~Sandra E. Martin, Executive Editor, Today's Parent Magazine
Mine would be Ewan McGregor because he’s charming and there’s something a bit punk rock about him.

I love Ewan McGregor, but Alex claimed him first. So I’ll go to my #2, Jason Bateman. So he’s not a beefcake in the way say… David Beckham is. But he’s one hundred percent funny and I just think he’d be so fun as a husband and a dad. Plus I may have had this lingering crush since Valerie’s Family/The Hogan Family.

The man cooks, takes adorable pictures of his fam (I might be Instagram stalking him) and has that irresistible British accent to boot! What's not to love?!

As I've always said, Clive Owen is my Brad Pitt. Coming close to Clive on my birthday last year was the best gift ever. Check out how I melted in his smouldering gaze. S-s-s-swoon!

Haley's runners-up: Brad Pitt, Robert Downey Jr., Liev Schreiber, Will Ferrell
This may be a more “obvious” choice but my crush on Brad Pitt dates back to 1996, so it’s legit. The man is like a fine wine, he only gets better with age.
~Laura Grande, Editorial Assistant, Todaysparent.com
Laura's runners-up (in this very specific order...): Ewan McGregor, Harrison Ford, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hardy and Colin Farrell
Anyone who’s seen The Kids Are All Right will agree with me on this one. A sexy organic vegetable farmer with a farm-to-table restaurant and a motorcycle? Hilariously awkward love scenes with Julianne Moore?! In real life, he lives on a 47-acre dairy farm in rural upstate New York with his wife and three kids. He’s also an outspoken anti-fracking activist in his community. I’m still not EXACTLY sure what fracking is, but I’ll support Mark Ruffalo and any cause he comes up with!
~Ariel Brewster, Senior Editor, Today's Parent Magazine
Gorgeous and Australian? I swear by the hammer of Thor that soon-to-be dad Chris Hemsworth is my ultimate celebrity crush.
~Emily Sadler, Editorial Coordinator, Todaysparent.com
Emily's Runners-up: David Beckham, Tom Brady, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Damon, and Josh Holloway — I’d get stranded on an island with Sawyer, er, Josh Holloway, any day.
The gangly, bald, often offensive Larry David is an unconventional choice for a celebrity dad crush, I know. For one thing, I've always had a thing for funny guys, and as the star of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David is hilarious. Even though the show follows the buildup to their eventual divorce, I always thought the interplay between him and his wife (played by Cheryl Hines) was very playful and sweet. Even when he was driving her crazy, you could see the hint of a smile on her lips. There's also just something about the twinkle in his eye when he smiles and his loping walk. Maybe I have a crush on his Curb character and not the real Larry David. In my mind they're the same person.
