Here's how to make your own homemade printed handkerchief:
1. To create your own stripe pattern, wrap twine tightly around a wood block and tape the ends to the back.
2. Apply fabric paint to the block with a sponge. (Most fabric-paint brands should be permanent and washer-safe.)
3. Stamp pattern of your choice onto a plain handkerchief.
