Jamming to kids' songs is one of life's great pleasures (though as parents, we might be biased). Finding music we can all listen to together is even better. That's why we love Songza! The app (available on: Web, iPhone, Kindle Fire, Android, Windows 8 and BB10) easily and expertly curate music depending on the time of day, whatever you're doing or your mood. Our kids love to browse and choose playlists using the concierge. It opens everyone up to new music that they may not have otherwise discovered. Cooking dinner while the wee ones colour? There's a perfect soundtrack for that. Baby won't sleep? They've got white noise from rainforests to ocean waves. Did we mention it's free?

So when we were invited to be curators of our own custom Today's Parent playlist, we were thrilled. Since it's our 30th birthday year, we chose to create a playlist that you could have on at a multi-generational family party. "The soundtrack of summer!" our editor-in-chief, Sasha Emmons, exclaimed when we reviewed the song choices. And so we asked our readers to submit their favourite songs of the moment on Facebook (Surprise! All our kids are obsessed with Pharrell Williams "Happy" and "Let It Go" from the Frozen soundtrack) and our playlist was born! Check it out here: Ultimate Family Party Songs! (Be sure to "favourite" it with a star.)

While you're hanging out on Songza, we unearthed some other great playlists for families. Here are a few of our favourites:

Playlists we like to listen to together:

Ultimate Family Party Songs (our very own list!)

Sharing the Classics With Your Kids (Curated by Melissa Etheridge!)

Playlists that are essential for getting things done:

Preschool on TV (Yes, songs from their favourite shows)
