Kids' songs: The best playlists on Songza

Jamming to kids' songs is one of life's great pleasures (though as parents, we might be biased). Finding music we can all listen to together is even better. That's why we love Songza! The app (available on: Web, iPhone, Kindle Fire, Android, Windows 8 and BB10) easily and expertly curate music depending on the time of day, whatever you're doing or your mood. Our kids love to browse and choose playlists using the concierge. It opens everyone up to new music that they may not have otherwise discovered. Cooking dinner while the wee ones colour? There's a perfect soundtrack for that. Baby won't sleep? They've got white noise from rainforests to ocean waves. Did we mention it's free?

So when we were invited to be curators of our own custom Today's Parent playlist, we were thrilled. Since it's our 30th birthday year, we chose to create a playlist that you could have on at a multi-generational family party. "The soundtrack of summer!" our editor-in-chief, Sasha Emmons, exclaimed when we reviewed the song choices. And so we asked our readers to submit their favourite songs of the moment on Facebook (Surprise!
