It’s a well-known fact that magical elves need their beauty sleep and if little boys and girls don’t go to bed on time, their little friend will get tired of waiting. Tell the kids that if they want Elfie to have time to visit Santa and get some rest they’ll have to head off to dreamland earlier.
Sometimes elves have cheat days and this dude went a little overboard. Good thing tomorrow’s a new day. Maybe tell the kids to make him a smoothie.
Elfie heard the North Pole was full of sneezes and sniffles, and we all know hand sanitizer only washes away pixie dust. So your little friend just had to stay put.

A jar of nutella, a water bottle, a bag of chips – whatever you fancy! Just stick Elfie inside the previous night and then when the kids wonder why he’s still there, say he got stuck.
We’re not accusing you of pushing him, but if the elf were to accidently fall of his shelf, well, he’s gotta sit still 'till Christmas. Doctor’s orders!
