Talia has some amazingly talented peers. Recently, we were thrilled to attend a book launch for our friend, Carly Hatton. While we munched cupcakes and chatted, Carly sat at the kitchen table drawing and signing copies of the book she illustrated: Limericks from the Animal Kingdom (written by Dr. I. Mary Hackney).
Most impressively, this isn’t the first book showcasing Carly’s art. You’ll also find her work in Artism—Art by those with AutismAnd she created the whimsical cover art for Girls Growing Up on the Autism Spectrum by Shana Nichols. (If you have a daughter with ASD you NEED this book!)
It’s fabulous when our kids have a talent that brings them joy and future career possibilities. Way to go Carly!
