Pixar's The Blue Umbrella: The cutest thing you'll see all day

I think it's official: Pixar can do no wrong. Not only are their animated features always amongst the most-anticipated films every year, but their animated shorts — many of which appear before their theatrical releases — are just as visually stunning and clever as their feature-length films.

After the recent success of Brave, Pixar is set to release the Monsters Inc. sequel, Monsters University, later this year. Picking up years after the events of the 2001 original, Monsters University reveals what happened to Mike (Billy Crystal) and Sulley (John Goodman) during their school days at the University of Fear.

In anticipation of its release, Pixar has revealed a short clip from the animated short that will accompany Monsters University during it's theatrical run.

And, as expected, it's pretty adorable. If watching two little umbrellas find love at first sight doesn't make your day, I don't know what will.

Monsters University hits theatres on June 21, 2013.
