Netflix Canada has announced which new TV shows and movies it will be adding to its lineup this month, and of course that means, more options for kids! There’s a ton of titles to look forward to in December, including the new sequel to Angela's Christmas and holiday specials from your kid's favourite series like Super Monsters, Trash Truck, Chico Bon Bon and more! Check out the full lineup with specific release dates below.

But first, an important note: The age recommendations offered below are approximate. Every kid is different, and you’re the best judge of what’s appropriate and what your kid can handle.

Angela's Christmas Wish

Best for: 5+ A determined Angela makes a wish to reunite her family in time for Christmas, then launches a plan to find her way from Ireland to Australia. Available December 1

A Trash Truck Christmas

Best for: 5+ When Santa crash-lands in the junkyard on Christmas Eve, Hank, Trash Truck and their animal friends all have a hand in rescuing the holiday for everyone. Available December 11

Transformers Rescue Bots Academy, Season 2

Best for: 4+ Five young recruits from Cybertron train to be rescue bots at The Rescue Bots Academy on Earth. Hot Shot, Whirl, Hoist, Medix and Wedge learn the value of teamwork, courage and friendship as they pass simulated and real rescue challenges. Under the guidance of Optimus Prime, Heatwave and Boulder they aim to one day be super heroes in their own right. Available December 1

Annie

Best for: 6+ An 11 year old orphan in a facility run by the mean Miss Hannigan, Annie believes that her parents left her there by mistake. LAST CALL!

Netflix takes titles off the service every month, and while it is removing some in December, there are no kid's  shows or movies on the chopping block. Woo!
