6 new kids' shows and movies coming to Netflix Canada this April

Every month, Netflix Canada adds new kids' content to its streaming lineup. Here's what's being launched in April.

Note: Age recommendations are approximate. Every kid is different—you're the best judge of what's appropriate and what your kid can handle.

Peppa Pig (seasons 3 & 4) Best for: Ages 3+ Join plucky piglet Peppa and her family and friends for everyday adventures that prove there’s learning and laughter to be had anywhere you look. Available April 1.

Chuggington (season 5) Best for: Ages 3+ Follow the adventures of Koko, Wilson and Brewster, three engines-in-training learning to ride the rails of life to become full-fledged chugger! Available April 1.

Rio 2 Best for: Ages 6+ Blu, Jewel and their three youngsters visit the Amazon, where they find adventure, friends old and new, and even a little danger. Starring Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, Leslie Mann. Available April 1.

Dawn of the Croods (season 3) Best for: Ages 6+ In this Nextflix Original, Grug becomes the first leader of Ahhh! Valley, and he must help solve the residents' many problems, including keeping out the food-stealing Broods. Available April 7.

The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show (season 4) Best for: Ages 7+ Peabody and Sherman must defeat an evil cyborg and fix the course of history. Zaniness continues at the penthouse, and our heroes switch bodies! Netflix Original. Available April 21.

Disney's Queen of Katwe Best for: Ages 10+ A Ugandan girl sees her world rapidly change after being introduced to the game of chess. Available April 25.
