New comedies to watch on Citytv.com

Here are two comedies to catch on Citytv.com after the kids are in bed.
 
1. If you like Modern Family, then you’ll love Ben and Kate.  This comedy features two mismatched siblings:  Kate Fox (Dakota Johnson), a young, overly responsible single mother working as a bar manager and Ben (Nat Faxon), her free-spirited, reckless older brother. When Ben moves in with Kate to help care for her precocious five-year-old daughter, Maddie (Maggie Elizabeth Jones), chaos ensues.
 
2. If you like New Girl, then you’ll love The Mindy Project. This highly-anticipated series follows 30-something Mindy Lahir (played by The Office’s Mindy Kalling) in her daily life as a romantic-comedy-obsessed, politically incorrect, unlucky-in-love OB/GYN. According to Mindy, her mission is to find a man with: “the wealth of Mayor Bloomberg, the humor of Jon Stewart and the face of Michael Fassbender....OK, the penis of Michael Fassbender.”  This mission proves to be disastrous.
