Zoe Saldana is expecting twin boys

Zoe Saldana is going to be very busy soon!

The 36-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy star and her artist hubby Marco Perego are expecting twins. E! Online was the first to report the news, and People has since confirmed it.

"It's twin boys and Zoe is thrilled!" another source tells E!. "Zoe always wanted a boy."

News broke that Zoe was having twins several months ago, and she recently confirmed the news in a sweet convo with E! about her Halloween costume plans, at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Hollywood Costume exhibit in L.A.

When they asked her if she was going to dress up for Halloween, Zoe looked down at her belly, gave it a rub and said, "I might. I might need three costumes. I might have to make some adjustments, but it would be nice."

E! also caught up with Zoe at The Book of Life premiere last weekend. When asked if she was ready for motherhood, she said, "It's almost like a redundant question, because whether I'm ready for it or not, it's inevitable, I'm there. I'm in it. So, I'm gonna have to be ready."

"The one thing I keep telling myself is I don't ever want to overflow my cup of patience," she added. "Trying to become an adult before I become a mother is very important for me, because I don't want my bad day...to be my children's price to pay. I definitely don't want to do that."

Well, umm, good luck with that, Zoe! It's so normal for new parents to expect themselves to be patient and never say or do the wrong thing. (I certainly had those expectations.) But, though we may have to be "adults," we're also human, get tired, get exhausted, and we say the absolute wrong thing sometimes! There's always "I'm sorry—I made a mistake." I'm a big fan of that one on not-so-good days.
