Calling all Disney fans!

As if we weren't already amped enough when we found out our favourite royal couple, Rapunzel and Eugene (AKA Flynn Rider), were coming back into our lives via a Tangled spin-off TV show, Disney just gave us a sneak peek of the artwork and it's shocking.

That's right—not only is the show going to ditch the CGI but Rapunzel's long, golden locks are back!

If you recall, this princess's hair was short and brown by the end of Tangled and remained that way in the follow-up short film, Tangled Ever After. But what's even more intriguing is the fact that the show, Tangled: Before Ever After, is a sequel to the original movie and a prequel to the short. What could have possibly happened in between?!

Regardless, the new 2D look still perfectly depicts all of our favourite Tangled characters—including Pascal! And not everything will be different. Mandy Moore will still be voicing Rapunzel and Zachary Levi will still be playing Eugene.

Tangled: Before Ever After won't be airing until 2017, so if you're itching for answers, you're going to have to wait. But meanwhile, we have some suspicions of our own. #hairextensions
