We'll miss you, Lois Lilienstein

It's a very sad day. Lois Lilienstein, of Sharon Lois and Bram fame, passed away at age 78. She died in her home surrounded by family and friends. In October, she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

I fondly remember watching reruns of the trio's The Elephant Show every morning as a kid. Still in my pyjamas, I would race to turn on the TV, ready to be entranced by the magic of Sharon, Lois and Bram. To me, the best part was always the end when they would sing "Skinnamarink." Even now, when I hear this song, I can't help but do the "Skinnamarink" dance.

You'll be so missed, Lois.
