It's happened to me. It's probably happened to you. So it's gotta happen to celebrities too, no matter how many nannies are in the room. You turn around for TWO SECONDS and -- BANG -- something happens.

This happened to me in Florida one year. The day before Christmas, I'm scrambling in taxi cabs all over Orlando, on the hunt for a pediatric dentist who can twist my 13-month-old daughter's tooth back around. Her dad, Josh-O, was in business meetings all day (we'd been tagging along on his business trip). I did manage to find a dentist and get the little tooth twisted IN TIME to see the Disney Christmas parade. But to this day I don't know how she did it. I was brushing my teeth and turned around for 2 seconds to spit out my toothpaste and BANG.

Last Thursday, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale turned around for 2 seconds and BANG, little Zuma (2.5) fell off a counter in their home and broke his right arm. POOR ZUMA!

“It was one of the worst nights of our lives,” Gavin (45) told People last Saturday before getting on stage with his band Bush at Palazzo Las Vegas's Summer Soiree party. "It was one of those freak events — he fell. A freak accident.”

Gavin says the event was "horrific," but they did get to the hospital in good time, and Zuma is "fine now.”

“It’s almost worse for us," Gavin told the magazine. "The kids are never alone and you turn your back — it takes a split second.”

You know it!

Here's to a speedy recovery, Zuma! And to no guilt for Gavin and Gwen -- because we all know, it happens!

Love!
