Yea or nay: Katie Holmes' birthday jumper

Happy Birthday, Katie Holmes!

The actress turned 33 yesterday and celebrated the big day with hubby Tom Cruise (49), their daughter Suri (5), and her parents (who flew in earlier that week) at a Buddakan restaurant last night in the chichi Chelsea area of NYC, which apparently offers a range of Pan-Asian delicacies and Dim Sum.

Tom carried a faux-fur-clad Suri into the restaurant while clasping Katie's hand....

And doesn't Katie look every bit the birthday girl in that curious jumper/lace blouse combo, which perhaps only a birthday celeb can pull off? What do you think? YEA? or NAY? And the shoes...?

...Katie's fascinating outfit aside, I'm loving Suri's gold little heels ? even though I'm decidedly not a fan of little kids in high-heeled shoes. BUT it was a special night....
