Tom Cruise is turning 50

Can you believe Tom Cruise is turning 50? I was watching Entertainment Tonight Canada while I was on the stationary bike this evening, and there was Tom Cruise talking about turning 50 in a few weeks — July 3.

Honestly? I know his behaviour can sometimes be a little questionable in the sanity department, but the guy looks amazing. Plus, he's been low key for a while, huh? I even found myself swooning a little again during Mission Impossible II, you? And I'm loving the new rocker-Tom in Rock of Ages. He does laugh at himself well, don't you think? And you have to admire that.

Speaking of laughing at himself..., check Tom out looking SO-NOT-50 in the photo above on his way his Friars Club ROAST (which was actually more like a TOAST). Yeah, that's him walking with, or rather under, his daughter Suri, 6, and yet another fluffy blanket. Tom's older kids, Isabella and Connor, also joined them.

Unlike Brad Pitt, 48, who says he'll retire in a few years, Tom's planning to stick around for at least another 30 years because, he told ET, he just loves making movies!
