Parents of toddlers are always on the hunt for an activity that will keep their kid focussed for more than a few minutes at a time. If the activity is calm and quiet, that's a bonus. If this sounds like you, look no further than this TikTok for some inspiration.

TikTok parent Crissy (@imcrissyrodriguez) shares lots of videos of herself and her daughter, Luca. In one recent video, Crissy shows how she and her husband keep their toddler entertained for a whopping 15 minutes straight! Check out the video here.

Luca is seen moving toys from one box to another, intensely focused on the activity at hand. The caption in the video reads: "My husband googled 'things to do with toddlers' and they suggested giving them two boxes and then some stuff to put in each one. And no joke she has been doing this for 15 minutes straight in complete silence. 10/10 recommend."

"I cannot remember the last time it's been this quiet," says Crissy in her caption.

While it may seem too simple to be true, Crissy has shared other videos of her toddler being occupied by the simplest things.

In one TikTok, Luca is playing with spoons and water in a bowl; in another, she creates her own game of not letting her garlic bulb toy touch the counter, where the caption says "We're not sure why this is important but we don't ask because this is how we maintain peace in the household."

Don't overthink it and don't ask too many questions! Just grab a few containers and some small toys and wait for that unicorn of a sound you so rarely hear you'd forgotten it exists: silence.
