The meaning behind "Harper Seven Beckham"

So why the name Harper Seven for the newest addition to the Beckham family? We had a discussion about this on Facebook today, and we finally have some close-to-official answers.

According to a source for People Magazine, the answer is not as complicated or even poetic (think Pink) as you'd assume.

Why "Harper"? Simply because it's an "old English name that Victoria has always loved."

Why "Seven"? It's a "lucky spiritual number." PLUS the baby was born "Sunday morning in L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center weighing 7 lbs. (and 10 oz.) in the seventh hour in the seventh month — on the seventh day of the week." So she was kind of destined to be Seven!

Of course, David Beckham's soccer (or football) jersey number for both Manchester United and the national English team is none other than lucky #7!

Destiny.

So Harper Seven wasn't inspired by Seinfeld, or Blossom, or Erykah Badu.... Just destiny -- which is actually quite poetic.
