Suri Cruise's birthday!

Happy Birthday, Suri!

Today was Suri's 6th birthday. And we've got some of the deets on what her special morning was like.

Apparently, Mom, Katie Holmes, 33, took Suri to see the Broadway show, Newsies. "Katie seemed happy that Suri was having a great time," a witness told Us Weekly Magazine. "Suri loved the dance numbers.... She was one of the first in the audience to start clapping along!"

A Broadway star herself, Katie must have loved the show too. The last play I took my kids to was Shrek: The Musical. It wasn't the best production I've seen, but it was a hoot, and the kids loved it (especially since I treated them each to a pair of ogre ears...).

More deets on Suri's birthday to come. Last year, Tom and Katie threw a fancy tea party-themed soirée for her in Beverly Hills. Wonder how they're topping that this evening....
