Singer Shakira is pregnant

I remember reading about this a while ago, and according to the Colombian magazine, Gente, the rumours are true. Grammy award-winning singer Shakira, 35, is expecting her first child with her Spanish soccer-star beau, Gerard Pique, 25.

Though Shakira hasn't officially announced the pregnancy, Gente Magazine's got lots of deets. According to the mag, her last ultrasound indicated that the baby's likely (80%) a boy, and it looks like she's got a scheduled C-section planned for January.

The pregnancy hasn't been a total breeze for Shakira either, Gente reports. She's been having headaches and dry skin. Her cravings include lime-flavoured pop (!), among others.

In the meantime, she and Gerard have been calling their unborn babe "Ulicito."

Shakira and Gerard first met on the music video set of the South Africa World Cup song "Waka Waka" (This Time for Africa), and they went public with their relationship in March 2011.
