It's a boy for Simon Cowell! The famously gruff music mogul shows his newly paternal, soft and sensitive side in a sweet series of newborn pics.
It's a boy for Simon Cowell!
Simon, 54, and his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, 38, welcomed a baby boy at 5:45 p.m. on Valentine's Day—Friday, February 14.

Earlier today, the famously gruff music mogul/X Factor judge gushed about the big news on Twitter, shared sweet pics of their new baby boy, and revealed the name they chose and its origins.
“Mum, Dad and Eric," he captioned the above photo. "Now two days old."
"You can see how very handsome little Eric is," he shares along with this precious pic...
And, "I never knew how much love and pride I would feel," he tweets with this tender shot....
Awww! It's refreshing to see this side of Simon Cowell, don't you think? So intimate and sweet.
This is the first child for Simon and the second for Lauren (who has an eight-year-old son with her former husband—Simon Cowell's former friend...). Baby Eric weighed in at six pounds, seven ounces.
"Very happy to say Eric was born at 17.45pm. Healthy and handsome,” Simon tweeted when the news first broke.
“Lauren in great shape. Thanks for all of your kind messages," he added.
And finally, the origins of Eric's name: "Named after my dad."
