Silly Candy: Sarah Jessica Parker vs. Carrie Bradshaw

The thing is it's raining.

I'm a bit of a train wreck when it's raining. Just ask the people at Shoppers Drug Mart. I believe I was yelling "WEWWO" (yellow) in the aisles with my son after my daughter and I had a boisterous giggle about how funny it is that we say "bless you" when someone sneezes. Not that I really needed to share that with you. But, seriously, sneezing is super funny. And by saying "bless you," we're kind of making it into something sacred. Yanno? Bwah! The rain. Also I have no idea how much money I just spent, but I brought home a whole bunch of things I don't need -- like that wewwo ball I got my son (another ball?). And no points discount this time. Boo.

So I highly doubt I'll be able to write anything truly coherent today. WHICH is why we're going to briefly discuss Sarah Jessica's "momdrobe" (mom wardrobe?). Here she is the other day, walking her très cute son James Wilkie Broderick to school. {Photo above}

While grey is, of course, an excellent blending-in colour for a celebrity on a school run, this outfit is just as far from Carrie Bradshaw as I am from a hot, sunny Caribbean island cruise in the arms of CLIVE OWEN right now.... So what about something like this for the school run...?

The shoes are ideal for the school walk, you know? And the flower just SCREAMS spring. Very apropos, you know?

Or how about this? The paparazzi will NEVER notice her....

OR, for one of those when-in-doubt times, this kind of thing would go over swimmingly in the schoolyard!

OHHH, we do miss Carrie Bradshaw. But we love Sarah Jessica Parker. And, personally, I like the grey number best. She seems like a really down-to-earth, hands-on mama! And, even in head-to-toe grey, she'll always be Carrie to me!

I didn't love Sex and the City II, but I'd definitely watch Sex and the City III. They could all go to Morocco AGAIN, and I'd go see it. How about you, Gorgeouses?
