Sarah Jessica Parker slow-walking with the twins

OK, I'm totally going to sound like my five-year-old son when I say this, but, do you know Sarah Jessica Parker, 48, is one of my favourite celebs? I sort of hinted at this when I wrote about how, when I start going grey, I want to dye my hair like hers — all streaked and ombré, but maybe more reddish to suit my colouring — but then I steered you off the trail when I started gushing over Kim Kardashian (she is a totally nice, charitable celeb, remember).

So here's Sarah taking her 3.5-year-old twins, Marion and Tabitha, for a leisurely stroll in New York City. And just like with my five-year-old son, "leisurely" is the operative word here. It's amazing that Sarah Jessica still stays so slim: She's always said walking the streets of NYC is her exercise; but we all know walking with the under-fives involves a lot of standing and slouching while they climb everything in sight! Gotta love it.

That was totally me this morning walking my slow-poke to school. It took us 25 minutes to get there and 10 minutes for me to walk home alone. So when I saw these pics today, I related, and I had to share.

And gosh, look how stylish Marion and Tabitha are with their matching hairbands and pretty necklaces. They're like little Carrie Bradshaws!

By the way, I'm going to really really really really really (I sound like my 7.5-year-old now) try to post more here. I've been a bit run down because of the kids lately, Josh-O travelling, etc., etc. But I'll try to pick things up a bit — even if the posts are teeny-tiny (with great pics) now and then. This aft, I'm volunteering at the kindergarten, but I'll try to get something out this eve, and then more tomorrow. See you then!
