Sacha Baron Cohen's Oscar prank: Rude or hysterical?

Funny? Or cruel?

Borat star/dad of two (with wife Isla Fisher), Sacha Baron Cohen (40), has everyone buzzing about his performance on the red carpet.

While he was being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest, Sacha, who was dressed as his latest character, Admiral Aladeen, dropped the urn he was carrying with North Korea's late Kim Jong Il's ashes all over Ryan's tux! Of course, those weren't real ashes. Ryan called it pancake mix.

According to the folks I'm watching now on the E! After Party, Sacha can actually face criminal charges for intentionally ruining Ryan's tux. But there's no way Ryan will press charges, so he's probably in the clear.

I'm rounding up all the Oscar looks now. It's going to be a long night.... SO much to discuss! Sorry for this rushed post. But TELL me what you thought! Did you love it, or did you feel sorry for Ryan?
