As you wish....
Emmy-award winning actor Peter Falk died last night at home in Beverly Hills. His family's keeping the cause of death private, but his daughter, Catherine Falk, confirmed that he had been suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's disease for years.
He was 83 years old.
Peter was best known for his role as one of the greatest detectives in television -- Lieutenant Columbo on the hit TV show Columbo. He also starred in 50 movies and was nominated for two Oscars over the half century in which he made movies.
Peter leaves behind his wife of over 30 years, actress Shera Danese, and his two daughters, actress Catherine Falk and private investigator Jackie Falk, whom he adopted with his first wife Alyce Mayo.
He may be best known for his role as the "rumpled" Columbo -- "just one more thing" was his famous line -- but he'll always have a place in my heart as Grandpa in The Princess Bride....
Love....
