Reese Witherspoon talks about getting her pre-baby body back, and the extremely popular kitchen appliance she recently forgot the name of.
Reese Witherspoon, 36, gave birth to her third child — Tennessee James — just a few months ago, and clearly she looks fabulous already.
But, she recently told Extra, that losing the baby weight hasn't been so easy this time. “I don’t know if I’m bouncing back," she told Extra, "I’m slowly crawling back. You know all of your joints feel wobbly and your head is sort of confused." Yup...!
“I couldn’t remember, the other day, what you call that thing that keeps the food cold. It was the refrigerator,” she added. "I couldn’t remember the name of it!” Ahhh, good ole baby brain!
“You just have to be gentle and patient with yourself,” she said, “and slowly get back to your health." Sagely put.
I have to say, my youngest is now five years old, and I'm FINALLY losing my baby weight. I've lost 20 pounds in the last several months (hollaaaah!). And really all it took was my being ready to focus on myself and value my own health — not an easy thing for new moms to do. It's been an interesting journey....
How about you? Did you lose the baby weight right away? Like me, did it come off when you were ready...years later? Or, are you still struggling with it?
Love!
