Reese Witherspoon & her tween daughter out and about!

Gorgeouses, my daughter's birthday's on Saturday. She's going to be SEVEN! I feel like I've been preparing myself for her seventh birthday for a while now — I've been saying she's seven since May.... But now she's really seven. And that feels so much older than six....

So I am LOVING this photo of pregnant Reese Witherspoon, 36, and her tween daughter, Ava, 12.5, spending some special girl-time together. It gives me hope that the closeness I feel with my daughter now will continue for at least a few more years.

Reese and Ava spent their time together at the nail salon in LA, California, last Friday. And Ava looked very happy to be with her mom, despite what looks like a knee injury....

Reese dressed comfortably in a loose summer dress and pedi-friendly flip flops. And she and Ava wore matching fedoras — very cute. Even though, as you may recall, I loathe the fedora trend (make it stop!), I'm totally LOVING these fedora twins...!

I kind of loathe the nail salon too, by the way. But my daughter's a sucker for them (Grandma takes her). I guess I better start liking them.... BUT, we did make a date to do our nails at home together this evening.
