Pregnant Jessica Simpson: Spotted at The Ivy

You know why (they say) celebrities go to The Ivy restaurant in Los Angeles, California, right? They go there to be seen....

So, it is without any hesitation whatsoever that I give you this photo of a very pregnant Jessica Simpson, 32, leaving The Ivy after a Valentine's Day lunch with fiancé Eric Johnson yesterday.

As you know, she's pregnant with her second child, and, as you can see, she's really starting to show!

One of the big topics surrounding Jessica right now is the status of her multi-million-dollar Weight Watchers contract. The singer recently lost a reported 60 pounds on the program — after she gave birth to baby Maxwell just nine months ago — and she's been the Weight Watcher's spokesperson, along with Jennifer Hudson. Now that she's pregnant again (in the middle of her contract), she is, indeed, taking a break from the program.

Here's the official statement from Weight Watchers: "[Jessica Simpson] will not be following the program during the pregnancy while her weight and well-being are monitored by her obstetrician, as is recommended for any woman during pregnancy."

And (this just in from Us Weekly Magazine), in the latest Weight Watchers commercial, Jessica actually makes reference to her pregnancy. "Being healthy has become a part of who I am, which is great timing because I'm having another baby," she says in the ad. "I feel like I'm on top of the world!"

Wonder how many points a lunch at The Ivy would be.... Hmm, it's Los Angeles. They definitely have healthy options!
