Perez Hilton is a new dad!

It's OK, I understand if you read Perez Hilton's blog every now and then. Heh. I happen to know a lot of you enjoy Perez's site, as well as our Celebrity Candy, so checkit: The world's most famous gossip blogger has welcomed his first child!

I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy — with lots of hair on his tiny head! My family is overjoyed at this newest and most cherished addition.... I am so humbled to welcome this little man into my life. Perez, 34, has not announced who the baby's mother is, or any details of the birth (which, since he is open about being gay, is assumed to be via surrogate).

Celebrities are congratulating Perez across the Twitterverse — which is making him all verklempt. "I can't stop crying!" he tweeted. "Every time someone Tweets me "Congrats Dad" or "Daddy" the tears just start streaming! #PoppaPerez."
