Details about where Baby Sussex was born have not been officially released, and we will not know where that took place until Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan formally register their little boy’s birth. But a new report has emerged that Meghan gave birth in a hospital, and did not have the couple’s first child at their home of Frogmore Cottage.

Meghan was reportedly taken to a hospital in London late Sunday night, and some royals didn’t even know she was going, according to the Daily Mail. The publication also reports the Duchess of Sussex was a week overdue, and stayed there overnight before returning home with Harry, but it isn’t known whether she was induced. Meghan’s due date was never publicly revealed. Buckingham Palace reportedly confirmed to the Daily Mail that the birth had happened in a hospital, but declined to comment further.

Last month, Harry and Meghan said they wanted to keep the birth plan for Baby Sussex private, and would share their news “with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family.” As a result, theories about where Meghan would give birth erupted, with many speculating she would have a home birth.

Harry was present at the birth on Monday, and left Windsor Castle to give an impromptu press conference in the afternoon. “I haven’t been at many births. This is definitely my first birth,” he said, looking overjoyed and exhausted at the same time. “It was amazing, absolutely incredible. As I said, I’m so incredibly proud of my wife and as every father and parent would ever say, ‘your baby is absolutely amazing,’ but this little thing is absolutely to die for so I’m just over the moon.” The adorable new dad revealed he had gotten “about two hours of sleep.”
