Marcia Cross focusing on rest and relationships post Desperate Housewives

Marcia Cross's twins are turning six on February 22, and it looks like they're already prepping for a big birthday bash — which apparently involves a lot of hula hoops. Fun! 

Yes, the 50-year-old Desperate Housewives alum and her daughter, Savannah, were spotted schlepping dozens of hula hoops and other loot-bag-type fun stuff to their car after a visit to the Big 5 Sporting Goods store in Culver City, California, earlier this week.

Since Desperate Housewives ended, Marcia's been trying to take it easy and really focus on family and friends — recuperating after years of hard work on the show and caring for her family. Here's what she told Digital Spy recently:

During the show I got married, I had twins and I took care of my husband at one point when he was sick.... I went from thinking I was giving up my acting career to working on a hugely successful show. I’ve been working so hard for the past eight years and I’m tired — but I’m also deliciously tired because what a wonderful life I’ve lived.... I’m looking forward to having a rest and being able to give to those I haven’t been able to see.

Lovely. And, gosh, she makes 50 look GOOD. So gorgeous.
