Kristin Cavallari, 26, has announced to the world that she's stopped breastfeeding her six-month-old baby, Camden.
"It's hard," the Hills/Laguna Beach alum tells HollywoodLife.com. "[Breastfeeding] was the hardest part of the whole thing and no one tells you that. I was a slave to pumping."
Now that she's stopped breastfeeding, Kristin has opted to feed Camden what she describes as "a goat milk concoction" that her fiancé, Jay Cutler, discovered.
Of course, after the HollywoodLife.com statements went live, Kristin took to Twitter to respond to questions and backlash....
"4 the ppl givin me grief abt givin Cam goat milk once I stopped breast feedin after 5 months," she tweeted, "u shld look at the chemicals in formula 1st [sic]."
"For the moms asking about it..do some research," Kristin added, "but we get goat milk powder enriched with some vitamins and add a few other things ;) [sic]."
Unfortunately, when you put this kind of sensitive stuff out there, you're going to get a heated public response — especially online. I personally have no opinion about Kristin's breastfeeding or feeding choices. Every parent has to do what's best for her and her baby, #endofstory.
