Wow, another Christmas engagement. Romance is definitely in the air! First Matthew McConaughey and his Christmas engagement to Camila Alves, and now John Legend!
Grammy-award winner John Legend (32) reportedly popped the question to Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen (26) while they were on vacation in the balmy Maldives last week. John’s rep, Cindi Berger, shared the news exclusively with People.com.
John’s first public appearance since the engagement will be at The Pearl at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas this weekend…. He’ll also ring in 2012 at the Nevada club.
In the meantime, John and Teigen are still in paradise (and she’s tweeting up a storm…) — they’re off to Thailand (possibly to explore the Thai part of Chrissy’s Thai-Norwegian ancestry?)!
