Jessica Simpson's post-baby body debut: Next week

It's been four months since the highly anticipated birth of her baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson, and Jessica Simpson, 32, is ready as she'll ever be to debut her post-baby bod. Her ads as Weight Watchers' pricey new spokesperson begin next week, and she talks to Katie Couric on the new Katie show September 10th (which is Monday, and I know that because it's my BIRTHDAY...also Ryan Phillippe's...and Colin Firth's).

I have NO idea what Jessica will look like, but she hints in a recent interview with USA Today that, like most of us, her “body isn't bouncing back like a supermodel."

Indeed, Jessica's the first to admit she went a little overboard eating for two. "I let myself indulge in everything I wanted," she tells USA Today, "because it was the first time I was ever pregnant, and I wanted to enjoy it." Alas, she adds, "I didn't realize it didn't all come off with the baby."

Though she hasn't shared how much weight she's lost, Jessica says she's "lost weight every week" since baby arrived.

On her PointsPlus Weight Watchers program, Jessica says she's allowed 28 points a day now that she's stopped breastfeeding (at which point she was allowed 34 points). She meets regularly with a group of 14 people consisting of family and friends, and they've lost 160 pounds collectively.

In addition to dieting, Jessica's been exercising like a fiend. She says she can't run because her "boobs are way too big to run at this point," so she walks an hour a day. And she works out four times a week with fitness trainer Harley Pasternak (whom I had a pleasure of interviewing a while back; we need to resurrect the video of me working out with him — yikes, or not! — from our old Todaysparent.com site).

“I’m just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself,” says Jessica. AMEN! Still.... She's at such a major advantage over us "everyday women." If a company paid me $4,000,000 to lose a bunch of weight, NO PROBLEM. Also, I'd love to have time to exercise an hour a day AND hire a trainer. Hmmm.... You?

Jessica's engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson. The big debut will take place on Katie Couric's new Katie show on Citytv MONDAY — my birthday, *cough.* Will you watch?

Love!
