Jessica Simpson: Second pregnancy is healthier but harder

How hard has the second pregnancy been so far for Fashion Star mentor Jessica Simpson, 32? Definitely not as easy as it was the first time around with now-10-month-old baby Maxwell, but much healthier.

Now that the initial "extreme shock" has worn off, Jessica's adjusting to raising her now-10-month-old while being pregnant. "Maxwell was our focus and then I was puking and lying on the couch," she tells Ellen Degeneres in today's show.

"This pregnancy is the complete opposite," she explains. "With Maxwell, I felt amazing, like I could do everything, eat everything, do whatever I wanted.... This time around . . . I'm like exhausted. Eating Tums. That's my snack of choice."

Speaking of snacks..., the Weight Watchers spokesperson, Jessica's being more mindful of what she's eating (in addition to Tums). No more Cap'n Crunch! Jessica says she's "trying to make healthier, wiser decisions" this time.

And while we were all surprised Jessica and her fiance, Eric Johnson, were expecting a second baby just seven months after Maxwell was born, it was actually a likely scenario. As Jessica jokes, "apparently protection was just thrown out the window!" Ha!
