Jessica Simpson: Pregnant again! (Report)

When I told our editorial coordinator, Laura Grande, that Jessica Simpson, 32, was pregnant again, she actually groaned, "Oh no, not another year-and-a-half-long pregnancy."

I have to say my reaction was more like shock and something like, "OMG OMG, I have to blog about this! Nobody's going to believe it, OMG!"

I originally heard the news on my favourite radio show, Cosmo Radio, this morning. Hosts Taylor and Kenny were talking to their guest Dr. Wider about it. Dr. Wider said this pregnancy had to have been an accident because their firstborn, Maxwell, is barely seven months old (move over, Tori Spelling!). She also said that this is rather risky because Jessica gained an "unhealthy" amount of weight in her first pregnancy and will have even more difficulty taking it off the second time. (Tell me about it....)

Indeed, Weight Watchers, with whom Jessica reportedly has a multi-million-dollar deal, must have a lineup of reporters outside their door today....

Anyway, as you can see by the cover photo above, Us Weekly Magazine got the scoop.

"It definitely wasn't planned," a source told the mag. "But yes, Jessica is pregnant again."  And according to this source, Jessica is "overjoyed."

This will be the second child for Jessica and her fiancé of two years, Eric Johnson, 33. For more on the pregnancy, new wedding plans, baby Maxwell, and Jessica's newly single mom, pick up Us Weekly — on stands Friday. And I'll keep you posted as much as possible with this groundbreaking (heh) news, of course!

Love!
