Check out the first photo of Jessica Simpson's new baby girl, Maxwell Drew!
Okay, Gorgeouses! I gave you a good long break from the (overexposed) Jessica Simpson. So, it's time for more. She's on the cover of this week's issue of People Magazine with her and fiancé Eric Johnson's newborn daughter, Maxwell Drew, so I thought you needed a sneak peek at the issue and some snippets from the exclusive interview inside.
HOW CUTE IS THAT BABY? Say it with me: "OY!"
In the interview, Jessica, 31, tells the mag that “life has completely changed" since the birth of her baby on May 1st. “From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!”
“We stare at her all the time,” Jessica says. “We can’t get enough!”
In the interview, Jessica also reveals that she had a c-section and that she's had trouble recovering from the surgery, in addition to nursing around the clock — "a full-on job," the singer says of breastfeeding.
And pumping's even more agonizing! “It’s the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her,” she says. “I miss holding her and having that closeness.”
DISCUSS: If you chose to breastfeed your baby, did you pump? Did you like the break pumping gave you (or the extra sleep)? Or did you miss the closeness too much, too?
Check out the rest of the interview (including wedding details, family pics, and more!) in this week's issue of People Magazine! On stands Friday.
Love!
