Jennifer Love Hewitt explains why she's not focused on losing pregnancy pounds, and how she's getting healthy and fit with her baby.

Her baby girl, Autumn, is four months old, and despite Hollywood pressure, the former The Client List star, Jennifer Love Hewitt, 35, isn't obsessing about post-pregnancy weight loss.

"I really thought I was going to be super consumed with trying to get my body back to the way it was before," Jennifer tells Us Weekly at this week's Pea in the Pod event debuting her new maternity line, L by Jennifer Love Hewitt, "and now that I'm a mom, I'm like I don't want to be that girl again because that girl didn't have a baby and didn't have a great husband and didn't have this blissful existence that I'm having now."

Instead of focusing on weight loss, Jennifer says she's concentrating on getting healthy and fit with her daughter.

"I've been doing Zumba, and I've worked it out so the baby's been doing Zumba with me," she shares. "We dance together, and I carry her as a weight so we've been having fun that way. The body takes about six months to fully come back so I haven't wanted to injure myself so I've been swimming because it's low impact on my system."

Jennifer also gushed about new hubby (her former Client List costar) Brian Hallisay.

"He's such a great dad," she says. "She is just the light of his life, it's really fun to see. And he just takes great care of us both, it's really nice. He's really good about letting me sneak out and get my nails done. He's great about giving me neck massages where I've thrown out my neck from carrying her. We have family snuggle time which is really nice, with his two girls. He was the most amazing man during labor ever! Just solid as a rock, never wavered, never flinched, was like 'we're a team, let's do this.' He was absolutely amazing so I told him, 'If you don't want to be an actor one day you should be a doula!'"

Way to go, Brian!
