Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony: SPLIT!

I know I said I wouldn't be shocked by celebrity splits anymore, but I find this one SHOCKING. I guess when you think about it, though, it's really not all that shocking: there's Jennifer Lopez (41), People's Most Beautiful Woman of the Year, at the peak of her career with all her American Idol fame and hit singles; and then there's Marc Anthony (42), who's big as ever in the Latin music scene but other than that riding on JLo's uber-sexy coattails.

And while she is reportedly renewing vows with American Idol this year (along with Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson -- yay!), she is officially ending it with Marc Anthony, her hubby of seven years.

Hmm..., maybe that explains why Jennifer took her mother, Guadalupe Lopez, with her to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge the other day.

Jennifer and Marc, of course, have two beautiful children together -- three-year-old twins Max and Emme. But a rep for the couple is assuring the world that all is amicable (via joint statement to People): We have decided to end our marriage.... This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.... It is a painful time for all involved...and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time. Sad. But now that I've had some time to process it, not all that shocking. Just kind of huge....
