Jenna Bush is pregnant!

Former US president George W. Bush is going to be a grandpa!

His daughter, Today host Jenna Bush Hager, 31, and her husband, Henry Hager, are expecting their first child in the spring.

"We’re so excited," Jenna told People Magazine. "We can’t wait."

"We’re both really thrilled,” her mom, former First Lady Laura Bush, said. “We’ve been looking forward to being grandparents for a long time and we’re very excited about it."

The former president actually called in to the Today show this morning when Jenna made the big announcement.

"I’m fired up," George W. said. I’m looking forward to it. I could barely contain the news.”

Jenna's twin sister, Barbara, is fired up too. She and the former First Lady are already thinking about how they'll help decorate the nursery. And since, as Jenna told People, she and Henry will wait to find out the sex of the baby, Jenna hopes they're OK with "neutral colours."

Well, congrats to the family!
