It's a vegan boy for Alicia Silverstone! (Name!)

Mazel Tov to Alicia Silverstone (34) and her hubby Christopher Jarecki (40). They welcomed their first child -- a boy! -- last Thursday, May 5.

And the name (t's a good one, Gorgeouses!)......

Bear Blu Jarecki!

Bear weighed in at 7 lbs., 15 oz.

Here's what Alicia posted just today on her (awesome) website:

My husband and I welcomed our 7 lb 15 oz baby boy Bear Blu Jarecki into the world on May 5th at 7:50am (PT). We are all three in love! I'm so grateful to this community for all the love, support, good wishes and happy vibes you've sent me during my pregnancy...it has been wonderful. Thank you all!

Alicia is the author of one of my fave diet/cookbooks The Kind Diet, and her website, The Kind Life, is one of my fave online destinations. She's very open and real with her readers. It'll be interesting to see her blog about BEAR! Later this year, check Alicia out in the movies Vamps and Butter.
