It's a boy for James Van Der Beek!

It's a boy for Dawson Creek's James Van Der Beek, 35, and his wife Kimberly!

As James announced on Twitter, their son arrived yesterday, March 13: "Had my first son this morning... well, actually, my wife had him. I just caught him. Wow. Heart expanding way faster than my brain..."

He followed the tweet with this gem: "If you could bottle up and distribute this feeling, I swear there'd be no more war. #fatherhood. " Aww..., I like that!

No deets on the name yet.

This is the second child for James and Kimberly. They also have a 17-month-old daughter, Olivia.
