It's a boy for Inception star Marion Cotillard

Congratulations to Oscar-award winning actress and star of Inception, Marion Cotillard (35), and her French actor-director boyfriend Guillaume Canet (38). They welcomed their first child Thursday night in Paris! And it's a boy!

And the name....

Marcel.

Very handsome!

Marion and Guillaume first met on the set of Love Me If You Dare (2003) and fell in love in 2007 -- the same year Marion won an Oscar for Best Actress for her role as Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose (2007). They recently worked together again on the movie Little White Lies (2010), which Guillaume directed.

Rumour has it the two are now engaged, since Ms. Cotillard has been spotted on the set The Dark Knight Rises (2012), the new Batman movie costarring Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway, wearing what People Magazine describes as a "diamond solitaire from Canet on her left hand."

If Marion weren't doting over baby Marcel, she might be at the Cannes Film Festival right now, where her latest movie, Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, debuted last week -- it'll be in theatres later this year.
