Oops! While talking to the New York Post about his new flick Beginners a few weeks ago, the notoriously private Ewan McGregor (40) let slip that he and his wife Eve Mavrakis have adopted a baby girl!

This is the fourth child for Ewan and Eve. She was born in March -- which makes her four months old. That's about it for deets, I'm afraid. The h-h-h-hot actor did not reveal his new daughter's name or nationality.

This isn't the first time Ewan and Eve have adopted a child. They adopted their daughter Jamiyan (9) from Mongolia five years ago. They also have two biological children -- Clara (15) and Esther (9).

Ewan let the news slip while sharing with the New York Post that family is his top priority: "My wife and four girls -- 15, two nine-year-olds and a baby of four months -- often come with me if it's a holiday or my locations and their schedules allow.... Sometimes we uproot them and put them in another school."

He also talked about being present with children, even though it's not always exciting: "I recognise it can be boring to play with young children -- to tell a story over and over again, let’s say -- but the secret is being there. If you’ve made a decision to play with your children, then play with them." Love him!

"Don’t be looking through papers on your desk or sneaking off to the computer," he added. "Turn off your BlackBerry. Lose yourself in their world. Even if you do it for a short time, it will mean a lot to you and to them."
