At last night's SAG Awards, Claire Danes spoke openly about her new baby's latest milestones, breastfeeding "rewards" and more.
I stayed in bed pretty much all day yesterday. And I'm still in bed today. You see, I have Marion Cotillard's cold.... It feels a little like Jennifer Lawrence's walking pneumonia, but it is just a bad cold — Marion Cotillard's cold because it sounds more glamorous.
Actually "glamorous" and I don't really go together — but I have to drag myself out of bed this afternoon for an important event. So we are officially calling it Marion Cotillard's cold. (Remember that time I caught Heather Graham's cold — for real?!)
This year's award season has been characterized by glamorous but sick celebs. I guess money can't buy you immunity from the flu season.
But one celeb who was positively glowing at last night's SAG (Screen Actors Guild Awards) was... CLAIRE DANES. Check her out in that fabulous black, one-shouldered Givenchy dress (above). She took home another "Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series" win for Homeland. What a year for her!
In her red carpet interview with E!'s Giuliana Rancic, Claire talked about her baby, 6-week-old Cyrus, and his new "rolls."
"He's getting fat," she said. "It's very exciting. All that time on the boob is starting to result in growth."
Claire also said that she's enjoying the new milestones. "He's starting to smile a little bit, and he kind of knows that I exist," she told Giuliana. "That's reassuring. That feedback is amazing."
So amazing....
Do you remember your baby's first smile and how good it felt to be recognized? This is bringing it all back for me! I'm a little verklempt...!
Love!
