Charlize Theron & baby Jackson: First photo and more details!

Gorgeouses, check out the sweet photo of Charlize Theron, 36, holding her 4-month-old baby Jackson! It's one of the first of the two of them together — so I'm excited to share! Huge thanks to our friends Louise and Saphyre from Hello! Canada Magazine for sharing the photo from their latest issue (on stands now).

The South African star of Snow White and the Huntsman adopted baby Jackson from a U.S. adoption agency, Hello! Canada is reporting, and "He's doing great," Charlize said.

Her friends tell Hello! that she's been trying to adopt for a while. "She's been very patient," they said, "and has a great attitude. She's ecstatic about finally becoming a mom."

Charlize is happily single, and she's embracing single motherhood with the wise guidance of her mother, Gerda, on swaddling and other things.

And don't expect to see Charlize out and about just yet. "It's very hard for me to leave the house now,” she said at the Human Right's Campaign gala in L.A. “You know how important this [event] is because I was standing at the door going, ‘Ah, this is so hard!'"
